So I came here with Andrew and Ethan. Andrew LOVES this place he keeps talking about it like every other time we go out to eat. The summer rolls here were so bad I have been telling him NO but I finally caved.
Banh Mi – Smoked Brisket – 3.8/5
Ok so the smoked brisket MEAT – is actually p gas esp if you get the fattier cuts. The leaner parts are kind of BIG and KILL the sandwich LK.
Bread- was not good. GOT WAY TOOO SOGGY and as you can is thin. Is it packed with meat ? Yes but let’s think about execution here
VEGGIES – they were p lack luster and I only tasted the carrots and this is like a lot of filling
No Pate or I at least didn’t taste any.
Am I complaining about getting a lot of food? Yes it’s sand which. I want my bites to be harmonious and not have to dislocate my JAW to get a COMPLETE BITE. (Sandwhich tutorial will be in the works tbh)
Like I want to score it lower because bro what’s the point of it being a banh mi. It’s not a banh mi just like put in some other veggie filling and this would be a banging sandwhich. I am not a fan from a traditional standpoint and from a sandwhich eater standpoint
Price – 3/5
It is a lot of food that could have easily been shared with someone so the price was 15$ but split in half not that bad would not save this for later
Experience – 2.5/5
It’s like a fast food joint I guess so it’s not amazing service. Maybe I am rating this too harshly because Andrew was staring me down with each bite practically HARASSING me to say something good about this place and how I am not as much of a EATER as he is.
Ok I took step 1 a couple of days ago… I can only pray I passed… What to do in the mean time *sunglasses emoji* study for my upcoming classes teehee
