So I went here with Uma and Andi. They chose this place on a whim because it was close to Central Park. Just pure vibes and conveniences

Egg Rolls – 3/5

Nothing crazy. Really decent. Not too oily. Good crust. Filling is ample and somewhat flavorful. it’s not a bad move. Nothing memorable or standout.

Wings – 4/5

That sauce is nothing but the wings are hella good. Everything done right. Not getting a 5 because it’s like just decently done well wings but nothing standout. Like I’m not coming here for the wings.

Super good wings if you’re already here though

Kao Soy – 3.8/5

It’s spelled that way here

Not that spicy. curry is good. I mean it’s like a decent. The veggies were like p crisp which for me I do not like in my khao soi. The shrimp was also like ok.

The best khao soi I’ve ever had was from golden triangle in Los Gatos, California.

Duck Tamarind – 3.8/5

Duck was nice here. Tamarind wasn’t too overpowering. The eggplant here was p nice. Soft and an alright good addition I guess. The dish overall BORING but they had some good duck and I am biased as heck for that. Not many places have decent duck. like I get it simple is cool but the eggplant was like not really harmonizing with this dish IMO. Like ok we put this sauce on this thing and this thing let’s just put it on the same plate vibes. Still p good but kind of random.

Clay pot rice – 4.5/5

Really liked this dish. No crust on the bottom (good catch by Andi and my taste buds). Despite that still had a pack a punch of flavor. Tender juicy meat and some nice little cut up sausages in there. What’s not to like.

Price – 3/5

Really good food. It’s pricey but def wou;don’t feel like I wasted any money here.

Experience – 3.5/5

Good seating

Decent bathrooms – if the bathroom is DECENT automatically I’m giving it a 3/5 minimum on the experience scale

So like the clay pot rice, duck tamarind and wings def carried this place. Was slightly disappointed in the khao soi but oh well.
