I went here on my to studying with Tanzina. Andrew always talks shit on this place but it’s called BANH MI gos and he is upset that the pho doesn’t taste like it came from guy fieri’s sweat glands ? ? ?

Short rib Banh mi (3.8/5)

A lot of carrot but the meat is juicy, tender, and a somewhat decent amount of flavour

Bread is p tame like its not the best texture slightly has some give to it if you know what I mean. It’s’ not like a FRESH baguette.

Toppings are p standard

Shrimp roll (2/5)

Too much noodle – noodle also was like p sticky and peanut sauce p standard a little dilute for my taste actually.

Not a fan

Duck Breast Roll (2.3/5)

Same issue as the shrimp roll but the DUCK was p fire not going to lie. But the ratio of the filling for meat and noodle is p bad.

Price (2.5/5)

Like I’m used to SAN DIEGO prices for banh mi and Vietnamese food in general. This is like pricey but it is like in a nice area and blah blah blah.

The service is p nice here and there are a lot of seats. They are close to one of my study spots so it’s nice and convenient and it pisses Andrew off if I go eat here so that’s a plus.

I’d come back here for the banh mi tbh.
