Saw this place on TIKTOK and decided to go try it out. I went here with Gracie and it was funny because I ate like popcorn chicken about 3 hours before and it gave me major stomach pain. Ok that wasn’t funny but it happened.

Branzino – 3.9/5

NGL the parts that weren’t DRY were A BANGER. if it was just like more consistent in that regards EASY 4.5. The seasoning on it is so unique. it’s like tangy, savoury, earthy and SLIGHT KICK. (not spicy but a little kick ifkyk). Truly a wonderful experience this restaurant/fish market duo was.

Pouf Pouf – 3.8/5

not a very appealing photo but it tasted sooo good. It’s like a lil chewy, savoury, slight sweet. what a nice lil treat to start the dinner.

Lamb Jollof Rice – 3.6/5

Lamb was pretty good. Jollof rice was mildly flavourful and not dry. The salad it came with was p nice with whatever that dressing was on the side.

Price – 4/5

You just pay for the fish and they grill it for you. Thats awesome. Fair price for the fish too it’s not like that different from what you’d see in other places.

Experience – 4/5

it’s a VERY CASUAL place. An umbrella fell on someone. There was a communal PAPER TOWEL thing that passed around. We were told 3 different ways to order. VERY NICE staff and cute seating arrangements. I would definitely come back again. Service is slow so be warned.

we went to a poetry event afterwards and NOT GOING TO LIE. I felt like I was going to throw up like maybe once or twice. I DIDN’T but man those popcorn chickens messed me up.

Yes I know the rating number is low considering how much I liked it but it’s like the FOOD QUALITY is not AMAZING or 5/5 worthy but the combination of GOOD PRICE and GOOD EXPERIENCE elevate this place overall. it’s good for something casual and not out the way. I guess if you do go eat out then you want something more than casual but I digress. I stand by my statement.
