Sober bar in the LES just for fun I guess pretty close to the L Chill ambiance and the food is better than expected

Also just to be clear like I know it’s serving pretty much expensive juice and labor/development/overhead yes yes of course. Expensive juice I mean like is it different? kind of like you’re really paying for the bar / drinking experience because I think just selling a variety of teas would be just as sober. I mean I’ll come back because not many places stay open late that are alcohol free so i guess im paying a premium for that too

Sour Whisper (3.5/5)

Hella frothy obvious from the photo. If it wasn’t for the froth though it’d probably score lower cause it’s pretty boring. Maybe how they got to this drink in their mind was interesting

Tuna Crudo (4.2/5)

Very good Love the combination of ingredients and the sauce is not over powering good quality tuna wish there was a little more crunch like with a tortilla chip or some chip thing

Manchego cheese (3.5/5)

bread was mid everything else pretty good and i liked a lot but get that bread up please

Sparkling Twilight (3/5)

Pretty similar to the sour whisper but not frothy and a bit less bitter this drink is like middle of the road on sweet vs bitter

like pretend is a bar and it’s pretty cheap but pretend it’s a juice spot and it’s expensive so idk glass type people argue amongst yourselves

I am down to come back and try more drinks and see if something else is more my thing but I will definitely be happily exploring the small plates and appetizer menu.

It really is a cute place with a nice interior and they have activities and the service is really good and knowledgeable.
