Came here to study for a bit
Chickpea Broccoli Bowl W/ fried egg – 3.5/5

Garlic rice with a chickpea tomato salsa and some aioli with egg.
Let’s start with the good. It’s pretty and the broccoli has a nice soft stalk but crunchy flowers. Needs more of the broccoli
Garlic rice was very timid and wet which I am usually a fan of but not in my rice.
Chickpeas slightly TOO grainy of a texture
Salsa was nice and the egg was done well.
OVERALL while each part was meh it worked pretty synergistically so It was actually a decent meal. wouldn’t get it again not anytime soon at least. Would be more interested in trying the rest of the menu.
Cold-Fashioned – 3/5

I didn’t realize that this was like supposed to be similar to an old fashioned until I tasted it. I don’t know how I missed it but tbf I don’t care. It’s ugly ngl. It is JUST as bad as the old fashioned I had at Nathan’s wedding. So if you like that go off. I literally see “special drink/food” I will order it I am very susceptible to advertisements and just being persuaded in general.
Breakfast Burrito – 3.7/5

Decent flavour very creamy it is more homogenous and things kind of just MIX together you’re not really tasting each piece.
Experience – 5/5
Honestly wish the food was better because I love this place it has so much seating / WiFi / outlets / a backyard that is open to the environment while also having umbrellas. A big thick rustic tree in the back to look at. No complaints here.
The staff are all really nice and the food while not initially impressive I will come back to try the rest.
Price – 3/5
Not cheap at all. The drinks are alright pricing. Food is pricey but umm yea. The bakery pricing is actually pretty cheap.
Ok so umm I have been thinking about not doing DERM when actually I am not sure if I am academically inclined to have a strong shot at DERM. I haven’t gotten my grade back from surgery but I am almost certain I didn’t honors. I was doing so well on my practice tests but no cap for real I do think environmental circumstances were why I couldn’t do well. I don’t even remember if I mentioned that I am thinking of pivoting from DERM here. I would like path if I could do full remote. I think at this moment the only thing I know for sure is if I work in a hospital I want to be at a teaching hospital. I do think I enjoy educating people. It is very fun and rewarding to be able to teach someone something. So with that in mind I do think a career where patient education is somewhat intriguing. You don’t really teach patients as a surgeon but you do teach residents I guess but tbf you teach residents in every single specialty. OBGYN seems interesting but the HOURS SUCK ovaries. Psych seems like I’d like it but I don’t like when people tell me I seem like I’d do well in psych. Maybe it’s because I’m stubborn or being perceived who knows. After seeing that patient die right in front of me I think I am can deal with dying patients. Did I mention that here? Anywho I am liking medicine a lot and now heme onc seems interesting so I signed up for that elective. Anesthesia is also in my radar too.
